INTENSIVE ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE COURSE
Four hours per day, from beginners to advanced.
At Monnalisa School in Florence the Italian intensive course is designed for participants who need to improve their Italian skills for general use.
The lessons are organized through four-hour courses per day, divided into three levels of language proficiency. If you are beginner student, you will immediately start with your first Italian class.
It is also possible to subscribe to only one, two or three weeks. Together we will read texts, watch videos, listen to the songs, in order to reinforce listening comprehension, we will read to improve our writing and we will do games and activities that will lead to learn in a dynamic and amusing way. There will be lessons on grammatical structure but also exercises on vocabulary and diction. During the course the main communication skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing will be developed at all levels in a gradual and balanced way.
The courses are dynamic and elastic. Every week teachers adapt and integrate in each group the program to meet your needs and your interests.
At the end of the course students will receive a certificate of attendance or, on request, a certificate with the level of competence achieved. All learning materials are included.
According to the Common European Framework we offer A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 levels corresponding of Scale ranging from complete beginner to advanced. Check here to identify your starting level and to assess how long you may need to study in order to reach your required level. Each level can be completed in 4 weeks. At the end of each level, you can progress to the next level.
Group sizes are small and you will be able to develop your Italian skills, focusing on listening, speaking, reading and writing.
The aim of the course is to develop your practical and communication skills in Italian. By learning and practising Italian in fun and focused lessons you will increase your confidence in using Italian, consolidate your language knowledge and achieve greater fluency.
Teachers will use a range of teaching techniques including whole class teaching and group and pair work. During the course your teacher will provide learning material for each class.
When you have successfully completed your course you can ask for a Monnalisa School certificate showing the length of the course and the language level achieved.
